“Health and fitness has always been important to me even from an early age. I have been a member of a number of gyms throughout the years, however The Gap Health and Racquet Club is by far, hands-down, the best gym I have been a member of. I have attended for a number of years now and love the family feel the club has. I value the fact that I have made friendships, can chat to the regular people I see every day and have gotten to know the instructors well, through the classes I have attended. It makes the times I attend the gym so enjoyable.
When I was looking for a new gym many years ago, one of the things that drew me towards GHRC was the number and range of group fitness classes that was offered. I love attending the classes for both accountability and the social aspect. I have pre-determined, non-negotiable times set in my week when I attend the same classes each week or do my strength training program. I enjoy using the weights room and have never felt intimated in using that space – something that can’t be said for many other gyms. My favourite group fitness class is RPM or Sprint. I enjoy seeing the metrics from the cycle cube and tracking my PBs.
I really get a lot out of attending GHRC and love the fact that I can share my fitness journey with so many like-minded and friendly people. I plan to attending for many more years to come and look forward to GHRC helping me achieve my fitness goals.”
